Oktoberfest 2018 is over. And next it’s time to turn to celebrating Deutsches Haus’ 90th anniversary. Here are a few photos from this year’s festival.
The Kinderecke or Children’s Corner had activities and crafts for children.
We’re a multi-modal festival. We had to make a little room in the free bicycle parking area to create free kayak parking. Another nice reason to be on Bayou St. John

As construction has finished, the footprint of the fest was enlarged allowing access to the area under the oak trees. Families immediately took advantage with picnic blankets.
