Born in Neumünster, Germany, Undine Corinna Jost grew up across Germany, Brazil, and Paraguay, learning five languages before making New Orleans her home after a first date with her husband at the 1984 World’s Fair. Her lecture details her family’s roots in various parts of Germany including Schleswig-Holstein and Thüringen, her own international journey, the cultures and languages that shaped her, and why home is wherever her family is.
