Frühlingsfest (formerly known as Volksfest) is a traditional German celebration of spring and outdoor activities after a long winter. Deutsches Haus will celebrate on:
Friday, April 10 from 4 pm to 8 pm
Saturday April 11 from 1 pm to 8 pm
Sunday, April 12 from 1 pm to 5 pm
Admission
Admission is Free.
The fest will be accepting credit cards and cash. Some small booths cash only.
Some limited parking available on site for $5 (Sorry – members, unless you’re volunteering, the $5 parking fee applies to you, too).
Outside under the Oaks
Bring your portable festival chairs to sit under the beautiful oaks on the Haus property.
Enjoy German Foods freshly prepared on site.
Dachshund Races
The Dachshund race slated for 5pm Saturday April 11, is organized and benefitting ARNO (Animal Rescue New Orleans)
