government & end the war, KINO will screen Stauffenberg! From Regie Jo Baier, this drama tells of
the plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler in 1944 that nearly changed history! Led by decorated Oberst
Claus von Stauffenberg, their plan was to convince the Wehrmacht that insurgents had killed Hitler
to implement Unternehmen Walkuere (Operation Valkyrie), a failsafe plan to replace the Fuehrer in
an emergency and eventually negotiate a surrender with the Allies. Film stars: Sebastian Koch (Der
Tunnel, Das Leben der Anderen), Christopher Buchholz and Hardy Krueger, jr. and will be screened
