A German Weindorf, or “wine village,” is a popular German wine festival held often in the late summer or early fall. These festivals celebrate the local wine culture and offer a lively atmosphere for enjoying regional wines and traditional foods.

In honor of this tradition, each summer, the Deutsches Haus transforms our Festival Hall into our own “Indoor Wine Village”. This year, our “Passport to a World of Wines” included 33 wines and accompanying culinary treats from the countries of Argentina, Austria, France, Georgia, Germany, Italy, South Africa, Spain, and the U.S.A.

Weindorf will be back in 2026 so grab your wine passport and explore the world tasting wines. Rain or shine, come enjoy a delightful cool evening in our indoor wine village that will be fun and festive.
