Come join us for our Halloween Screening of “Metropolis”! In 2008, an Argentinian film student found a
damaged, but complete, release print, including almost thirty minutes more. of the legendary, influential
film from Regie Fritz Lang (“Dr Mabuse der Spieler”, “Die Nibelungen”, “Spione”, “M, Eine Stadt Sucht
einen Moeder”)! Scripted, as usual, by his Drehbuchautorin/Frau Thea von Harbou, this is the closest cut
available since the film’s 1926 German Premiere at the UFA Palast am Zoo! The dystopian classic will be
screened complete with German slate intertitles & Gottfried Huppertz memorable original Filmmuzik!
Film stars: Brigette Helm, Gustav Froelich, & Alfred Able, & will be subtitled in English. FSK: 06.
