Visit by a Firetruck! Games, Crafts, Fun, & Face painting. Pizza for lunch (Cheese or pepperoni) Free for kids and adults, but reservations required so we can prepare supplies. Food free for kids. Adults can purchase food and drink for themselves. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Hofbräu Masskrugstemmen Contest What is the sport of "Masskrugstemmen"? It is a Bavarian sport; the name translates loosely into the lifting of a liter mug of beer.  The "Masskrug", a 1-liter Stein, is to be held with one arm, completely stretched out and parallel t the floor - the goal is simple: to hold the Stein up as long as possible.  It's a balance between the right technique and strength.  The full 1-liter "Mass" weighs about 5 lbs.! Deutsches Haus is offering 3 Days of competitions:     May 30 4pm  2 heats of 10 Men/2 heats of 10 Women     June 13 4pm  2 heats of 10 Men/2 heats of 10 Women     July 11 4pm  2 heats of 10 Men/2 heats of 10 Women Day 3 July 11 Men's *** Click Here to Register / Men *** Day 3 July 11 Women's   *** Click Here to Register / Women ***     July 25 5pm  Finalists from each heat compete to win a trip to New York City held September 18-20. Deutsches Haus will only provide Round Trip Airfare and Hotel.  All other expenses and guests will be paid by Champion Winners.   Deutsches Haus will be sending 1 Man and 1 Women to the competition in New York. Each registration is $25 per day.  Each participant will receive a HB 1-liter Stein to be used in the competition, a hat, and pin.  Heat winners will receive a medal and advance to the finals on July 25.
