For information on the events:
Deutsches Haus is having a new event on Moss Street. The First Annual Christkindl Markt (Christmas Market) will be Saturday, December 21, 2019, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. In the tradition of German seasonal markets, there will be booths for Christmas shopping and treats.
Multiple vendors will be selling Christmas ornaments, steins, art work, crèche and nativity figures, wooden and marble items, sweets, herbs and spices along with oils and vinegars and more. All will be great for those last minute gifts.
There will be visits by the Christkind (11 am & 1pm) and St. Nicholas throughout the day (And the Deutsches Haus Chicken mascot, too! at 3pm and 5pm)
Nuremberg sausages and gluhwein (mulled wine) plus hot chocolate will make you feel like you are at the Nuremberg Christkindl Markt in Germany.
For anyone purchasing $25 from any vendor at the Markt, Sabine Chadborn’s Jewelry will add the choice of a custom made colorful wire ring ($10 value).
The event is free and open to the public.
