SUMMARY:Volksfest
DESCRIPTION:Volksfest is a traditional German celebration of spring and out
 door activities after a long winter. Deutsches Haus will celebrate on:\nFr
 iday\, April 4 from 4 pm to 10 pm\nSaturday April 5 from 1 pm to 10 pm
 \nSunday\, April 6 from 1 pm to 6 pm\nAdmission\nAdmission is $5 for Non
 -members. Free for kids under 12 years. Free for Deutsches Haus members pl
 us one guest. (Members – bring your cards!) Everyone will need to stop b
 y the entrance booth to get a wristband and in the case of adults\, to get
  their ID checked in order to purchase alcohol.\n\nAccepting credit cards 
 and cash. Some small booths cash only. Some limited parking available on s
 ite for $5 (Sorry – members\, unless you’re volunteering\, the $5 par
 king fee applies to you\, too).\nOutside under the Oaks\nBring your portab
 le festival chairs to sit under the beautiful oaks on the Haus property.\n
 Dachshund Races\nBenefits ARNO. Races start Saturday\, April 5 at 4 pm. *
 Registration*\nTorwand\nSoccer shootout through out the day on all 3 days\
 nWine &amp\; Schnapps Tastings\n\n 	Wine tasting session: Taste a variety
  of German wines. Inside the Haus in the St. Louis Room.\n 	Schnapps tasti
 ng session: Experience the quintessential tastes of a variety of German s
 chnapps. Inside the Haus in the Bierstube\n\nTickets required. Attendees m
 ust be 21 or older. Purchase tickets at the Fest at the Headband booth.\n*
