DESCRIPTION:Hofbräu Masskrugstemmen Contest\nWhat is the sport of "Masskru
 gstemmen"?\n\n\n\n\nIt is a Bavarian sport\; the name translates loosely i
 nto the lifting of a liter mug of beer.  The "Masskrug"\, a 1-liter Stein
 \, is to be held with one arm\, completely stretched out and parallel t th
 e floor - the goal is simple: to hold the Stein up as long as possible.  
 It's a balance between the right technique and strength.  The full 1-lite
 r "Mass" weighs about 5 lbs.!\n\n\nDeutsches Haus is offering 3 Days of co
 mpetitions:\n    May 30 4pm  2 heats of 10 Men/2 heats of 10 Wome
 n\n    June 13 4pm  2 heats of 10 Men/2 heats of 10 Women\n  
   July 11 4pm  2 heats of 10 Men/2 heats of 10 Women\n\nDay 3 July 11

 sts from each heat compete to win a trip to New York City held September 1
 8-20.\n\n\n\n\nDeutsches Haus will only provide Round Trip Airfare and Hot
 el.  All other expenses and guests will be paid by Champion Winners.  \
 n\n\nDeutsches Haus will be sending 1 Man and 1 Women to the competition i
 n New York.\n\n\nEach registration is $25 per day.  Each participant will
  receive a HB 1-liter Stein to be used in the competition\, a hat\, and pi
 n.  Heat winners will receive a medal and advance to the finals on July 2
 5.
