October 18-19 is the last weekend for Oktoberfest 2019. And it looks like the weather will be great on Saturday. Bring your festival chair and sit under the oaks.
At 2:00 pm there will be a performance by New Orleans’ own 610 Stompers. Note the time has changed for the Stompers. AND Saturday at 3:30 pm there are the Dachshund Races! As well as more German music, beer and food, of course.

Oct 12: It’s a good time to come enjoy good German beer, food and music on the banks of Bayou St. John. Many of the varieties of German beers are not available in the New Orleans any other time of the year. Complete list of beers is here.
The fun starts at 1 pm on Saturday. A cool front has come through!!!! Perfect time to bring your festival chair and sit under the oaks.
Saturday, there will be a fire engine for the kids starting at 2pm. The Schnauzer parade and costume contest is at 5pm Saturday. It is run by NOLA Schnauzer rescue.
